The short version

This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Ever.

What we collect

Nothing. Glass for Google Images has no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, and no user accounts.

When the extension makes a network request

The extension makes exactly one type of outbound request: when you explicitly choose "Copy image" in the overlay viewer, the extension fetches that specific image from its origin server so the bytes can be placed on your clipboard.

These requests are initiated only by your direct action, omit credentials, and are never logged or retained.

Local storage

Your enabled/disabled preference is stored via chrome.storage.sync, which syncs only across your own signed-in Chrome instances using Chrome's built-in sync mechanism. No data leaves Chrome's sync infrastructure.

About this website

The sections above describe the Glass browser extension, which collects nothing. This website itself (the pages at carlosvilla.xyz, including this one) uses cookies and standard analytics to understand general traffic, the same way most websites do. This is separate from the extension and does not change how the extension works.
